What is the interest rate on the money I borrow?

The margin interest rate charged on the money you borrow in your Margin account is 8% plus the daily Federal Funds Rate (FFR).

Keep in mind that it is possible that margin interest rates may fluctuate during the time you have an outstanding loan. Like any other loan, you must repay your margin loan along with interest, regardless of the underlying value of any securities you might have purchased with margin.

Please note that the Interest Margin Rate can change without notice given market conditions.
