Canceling pending orders

Orders can be canceled in the History section of your Account menu in some specific cases:

  • If you place an order when the market is closed, you can cancel it before the market reopens at 9:30 A.M. Eastern Time;
  • If you place a huge order in a thinly traded stock, it may get partially filled and while the remaining shares are not executed, you can cancel the order of the shares that weren’t filled;
  • If you placed a Limit Order and it hasn't been executed yet.
